Synopsis of The Wedding Weekend Movie
From the abrupt beginning and the conversation between the major characters, we know that something is amiss. It is their wedding weekend and plans are in the top gear to make it memorable. But will it come by as they want it?
Marvin acted by Damilola Mike-Bamiloye wants a small wedding. His fiance Gabby, however, wishes to have a big colorful one. Though most introverts do not like to keep many people company let alone invite scores to their events, we soon know why Marvin is hell-bent on having a “secret” wedding.
Through flashbacks, we see Marvin’s horrible past which is now on course to ruin everything in plan. It is clear why Gabby announced that their wedding is canceled on the wedding eve. Worse yet, we see why our protagonist’s father refuses to forgive his past and honour him on his big day.
People’s past can be unforgiving; it would continue to haunt them till it shuts them off of breath completely. But God is always near though unassuming. He turns the tide in His people’s favour even at the eleventh hour when they least expect it.
